OK, it is time to pack those backpacks. Please make sure your son or daughter has the following items available to them daily. Desk and locker management skills are much easier for some children than they are for others. If your child struggles, try keeping supplies to a minimum. I will check in with all 23 children (Yikes!) every morning to encourage them to develop a routine.

- A good free time reading book - It is OK to keep a small supply of these in your locker
- School/Home pocket folder provided by the PTO - These are a great communication tool.
- 2 sharp pencils - It is a good idea to keep a supply of sharpened pencils in your locker
- 1 eraser
- 1 pair of scissors
- 1 personal writing/drawing notebook
- 1 box of about 24 crayons
- 1 box of about 12 washable markers
- 1 soft pencil case
